Membership Meeting
To all Members of Aeromodelers of Acadiana,
A Member’s Meeting/Fly-in has been scheduled for Saturday, December 14th @ 10:00 am.
We will be discussing our club’s accomplishments for the year 2024 and what we are looking forward to in 2025.
The grill will be lit, and hamburgers and hot dogs are on the menu.
So please come on out and close the year off with a good AOA fun time.

Irrigation System Complete!
As of August 23rd, 2024 our sprinkler system is completed. Testing was a success. The field will open tomorrow but please note: the runway is scarred and it will take time to recover. Ground operations will be difficult at this time and only you can decide whether or not you can takeoff and land. So fly at your own risk.
Watering operations begin this evening and are scheduled every day from 4 to 6 am and 9 to 11 pm. Hopefully it will not take long for the field to recover.
Thank you for your patience in this endeavor. It is a much needed improvement that will benefit our club for years to come.
